AURORA FILTERS can be custom built to a variety of different flange types. The most popular flange types are;
Option SF – Sanitary Ferrule Fittings
These are ASME BPE design fittings. All sanitary ferrule fittings are supplied with blind caps of the same material as the wetted surfaces complete with clamps and gaskets. Sanitary Ferrule fittings are not recommended for HALAR or ETFE 1020 lined vessels as the lining process presents a significant challenge of maintaining the grove depth for the sanitary gasket.
Option AF – ANSI 150# flanges
Some of these flanges will be rigid and others may be supplied as lap-joint style in areas were nozzle rotation is necessary. ANSI flange vessels are not supplied with blind flanges, gaskets or hardware.
Option DF – European DIN standard flanges
Some of these flanges will be rigid and others may be supplied as lap-joint style in areas were nozzle rotation is necessary. DIN flange vessels are not supplied with blind flanges, gaskets or hardware.
Option LJA – Lap-joint ANSI 150# flanges on all nozzles
ANSI lap-joint flange vessels are not supplied with blind flanges, gaskets or hardware.
Option LJD – Lap-joint DIN flanges on all nozzles
ANSI flange or DIN flange vessels are not supplied with blind flanges, gaskets or hardware.
Jacket Nozzles, Glove Ports and Product Chutes
Jacket Inlet and Outlet nozzles can be custom ordered to a different configuration than the process nozzles. Typically these nozzles are ordered as FNPT, MNPT, sanitary ferrule fittings, ANSI flanges, or DIN flanges. The typical NPT sizes are 3/4” NPT or 1” NPT.
All Glove Ports are supplied with either 6” or 8” sanitary ferrule flanges and come with caps of the same material as the vessel, clamps and gaskets.
All Product Chutes are supplied with sanitary ferrule flanges and are supplied with caps of the same material as the vessel, clamps and gaskets.
