The original AURORA FILTERS where developed with the sole intent of supplying 100% isolation and inert environment of the filtration process.  Thus the A – Atmospheric series of filters was born.

A-Series filters require a continuous supply of nitrogen which is exhausted through the vacuum developed for filtration as well as the surplus exhaust out an open vent.  This filters glove ports are sealed with gloves but these gloves are not rated for any pressure.  This design has been used with great success and the original filters from 1996 are still in production to this day.

The A-Series filters are available in a variety of sizes with applicable capacities, in four choices of materials, with various nozzle connections, as well as other options.

** Based on cake thickness equal to the height of the heating/cooling jacket which is 4” for A14 and 6” for all other sizes.  A36X has 8” jacket height.

*** Based on volume below the outlet of the product chute.  Greater reactor volumes can be handled by staging the charging cycle of the filtration process as the filtrate is extracted.
